Media attending the conference
Media Room
The hub for media attending the conference is the Media Room located on the ground foyer, room G07, Parkside. The room is equipped with internet access, two laptops and work spaces, with access to a printer and photocopier.
Interviews
Staff in the Media Room will be able to help you set up any interviews you require. The ideal opportunity for interviews is during the twice-daily press briefings. If there is no one on hand to assist you, please contact Petrana Lorenz on + 61 405 158 636.
Daily Press Briefings and Other Events
As registered media we are pleased to invite you to participate in all conference events, including
pre-conference workshops, symposia, debates and skills-building sessions. In particular we encourage you to participate in the
pre-conference media workshop "Getting the Scope on HIV Prevention Research" and our twice-daily press briefings, which provide you with a unique opportunity to speak directly to speakers.
Support Materials
To help you with your articles we have a range of factsheets, photos, presentations and more to be posted alongside copies of press releases, video footage of plenary sessions and interviews with speakers. This material will be uploaded live from the conference. We would also be delighted to post up any articles you write from the conference. Please send them to Petrana.Lorenz@ashm.org.au
