Visa Types
Everyone entering Australia on a passport that is not and Australian or New Zealand passport will require a visa to enter. There are three visa options for delegates planning on attending the 2012 International Microbicides Conference:
eVisitor Visa
An eVisitor visa is an online application, which must be submitted outside Australia for European passport holders with an eVisitor eligible passport. An eVisitor visa does not have any application or service/processing fee. The list below are eligible country for this visa:

ETA (Business Entrance- Short Stay) Subclass 977
An ETA (Business entrance- Short Stay) Subclass 977 visa must be submitted outside Australia. An AUD $20 service/processing fee is charged per application. Please find the list below of those countries eligible for this visa:

All other counties are required to apply for a Business (short Stay) Visa subclass 456. This visa type can take up to 6-8 week to process, and must be submitted at a local Australian Visa Office, in your current place of residence. Currently the Visa Fee is AUD $140.
